Recruitment Notice for Foreign English Teacher
Anhui Jianzhu University (AHJZU) plans to recruit a foreign English instructor. Details are as follows:
I. Introduction of AHJZU
Anhui Jianzhu University (AHJZU) is a public and doctoral institution in China. AHJZU has a total enrollment of over 2,900 graduate students and over 18,900 full-time undergraduate students. The university has established cooperation with over 20 universities in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia，Ireland，Russia, Belarus, and South Korea.
II. Job Description
1. Teach 14-16 hours of class per week for undergraduates in the Joint Bachelor Degree Program in Interior Design of the School of Arts and English majors at the School of Foreign Studies. Courses include, but are not limited to: Freshman Composition, English Speaking and Writing, International Students: Writing, American Language for International Students, Academic Vocabulary for International Students, Academic Reading Skills for International Students.
2. Work location: South Campus of AHJZU (292 Ziyun Road, Hefei, Anhui, China, 230601).
3. The instructor shall complete the agreed tasks on schedule and perform their duties diligently and promptly. To ensure teaching quality, consistency, and to meet evaluation requirements, the instructor shall share teaching materials (e.g., course slides) with AHJZU for review prior to classes.
III. Qualifications
1. Demonstrate passion for higher education, adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, exhibit a rigorous work ethic and professional integrity, and possess strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
2. The applicant’s native language is English.
3. Bachelor’s degree or higher in English Language and Literature, Teaching English to Speakers of
Other Languages or related disciplines such as Linguistics, Literature, Education etc. Applicants with an educational background in the Arts are also welcome.
4. At least 2 years of working experience teaching English as a foreign language.
5. Applicants who have TESOL/EFL certificates are strongly preferred.
6. A clean criminal record is a mandatory requirement for the candidate.

三、任职资格
1.热爱高等教育，遵守法律法规，具有严谨的工作作风和职业操守，具备良好的沟通能力与团队合作精神。
2.母语为英语。
3.具有英语语言文学、英语作为第二语言教学（TESOL）或相关学科（如语言学、文学、教育学等）的本科及以上学历。具有艺术类教育背景者亦可。
4.至少2年教授英语作为外语的教学经验。
5.持有TESOL/EFL证书者优先考虑。
6.候选人需无犯罪记录。
